The definition of "indictment" is "a thing that serves to illustrate that a system or situation is bad and deserves to be condemned." How many times do we condemn the bad things in our lives? I get it. When something is bad, it's easy to want it to go away or resist it. No one likes to feel uncomfortable, stressed, or anxious that unwanted circumstances bring. I invite you, however, to do something that you'd never in a million years want to do. And that is to embrace it. EMBRACE it?! Why in the heck would I say that?! What if that thing that seems to be wrecking your life is EXACTLY the thing you need to launch you to your heroic life? What if you need to learn from it to grow from it? What if buried deep in the heart of the circumstance is an amazing gift? Wouldn't you want to find it if it could deliver to you a life that is better than it was before? I invite you to be willing to entertain that from "bad" situations come amazing gifts. What is something in your life that you are condemning and resisting? What may be a gift that could arise from it?
